Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed rap songs that addressed topics like race and sexual orientation. She then expanded her fans to Hollywood. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via trumpet. Then, she started traditional and hip-hop training. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she graduated. After becoming famous through the Internet the track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$1. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in 2015, which was a different project. After having a great career as a musician She decided to take on the character of actress. Alongside early TV shows, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile movies like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
